All
Muslims have a sacred mission - that
is to
bring the entire world under Allah’s dominion.
Any
opposition is dealt with - violently and to the death, if necessary.
The Moslem believes if
Jesus were God, it would have been unjust for God to have punished His
own
nature. Hence “the grace of God” is an unknown and foreign idea.
Allah demands absolute
obedience but he offers no forgiveness of sins in return.
The Moslem awaits the Day
of Judgment when works, not grace, will determine his destination in
the next
life.
We’ll look at Islam against
5 headings, comparing with what the KJV Bible says:
1. Who is
God?
2. Who is
man?
3.
Salvation
4.
Behavior
5.
Worship
*************
John 3:16
“For God SO LOVED THE WORLD, that he gave his only begotten Son, that
whosoever
believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
*******************************************
A God of
grace, mercy and forgiveness is foreign to the Moslem - a God who
Himself
paid the price to redeem man from His wrath and hell.
BACKGROUND
Muhammad, born 570 AD
founded this strict monotheistic religion of Islam (Mohammedanism),
claiming a
line back through Abraham and Moses. The symbols are the crescent moon
and the
star. It’s a religion which professes salvation by good deeds and
ardent outward
displays of piety without having to experience a spiritual rebirth of
their
inner nature.
All other religions are
seen as Satanic with Allah alone to be praised and worshipped. All
Muslims have
a sacred mission - by force of persuasion to bring the entire world
under the
dominion of Allah.
WHO IS
GOD?
Allah is the monotheistic
God to the Moslem. The Christian view of the Trinity is rejected as the
Koran
states that it is not proper for God to have children. Justice is the
most
important attribute for Allah to have. Allah is merciful but only to
those who
will live according to his dictates.
WHAT’S GOD GOT TO SAY ABOUT ALL THIS?
“For there are three that bear
record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these
three are
one “1 John 5:7
“Looking for that blessed hope, and the
glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ “
Titus2:13
Comment: You’ve got
to take sides - you can’t sit on the fence. Is Jesus God? Is the Holy
Spirit
God? Islam teaches that Judas died on the cross instead of Jesus.
Allah is not God as history
shows before Islam came into existence, the Sabeans in Arabia
worshipped the
moon god who married the sun goddess. The moon god ( the crescent moon)
was
just one of the 360 idols that were thrown out of the Kabah in Mecca in
630 AD.
Muhammad
wanted to create his own religion and needed the backing of this
powerful
tribe, so he picked Allah, the idol shaped like a crescent moon and the
one
they worshipped, to be the one true god and he declared himself to be
Allah’s
prophet.
WHO IS
MAN?
Moslems see the world as
created by a deliberate act of Allah, a personal and omnipresent God.
Muhammad
didn’t do miracles but merely proclaimed the will of Allah. Moslems
don’t
expect deliverance from the suffering of this world but believe good
deeds will
be rewarded in the next.
Man is seen as a
vice-regent in charge of creation under Allah, whose purpose is to make
a moral
order in the world. Man has a divine spark, taqua, manifested in his
conscience
which enables him to perceive the truth and act on it. A man’s
conscience is
thus the greatest value in Islam. WHAT’S GOD GOT TO SAY ABOUT ALL THIS?
“In the
beginning God (this is plural Elohim-Father, Son and Holy Ghost - not
Allah)
created the heaven and the earth.”
Genesis 1:1
“ ... as by one man sin entered into the
world, and death by sin...” Romans 5:12
“... having their conscience seared with a hot
iron...” 1 Timothy 4: 2
Comment: Whose
conscience are we going to follow? Yours or mine. The Bible says that
neither
is wise. The Christian has the Holy Spirit living inside of them and
the Spirit
agrees with the Word of God. A saved man is one who trusts in the work
of Jesus
Christ in dying for his sins. Martin Luther said that a Christian is
one that
is righteous before God but still sinful - going to heaven on the
merits of
Jesus alone not on his good works.
Good works will take you to
hell, as the Bible says that “our righteousnesses (our good deeds) are
as
filthy rags” not our bad deeds.
A good deed to a Moslem is
to kill Jews and infidels i.e. those who won’t convert.
SALVATION
On the last day,
Moslems believe that “Every man’s actions shall be laid before him like
an open
book”. There is no repentance in this life based upon the work of an
external
God.
Depending upon the insight
given by Allah to a man, so he shall be judged - according to the truth
he
knows and to the best of his abilities. Infidels who are
presented with
the truth of the Koran will be given no mercy at the judgment. Torments
of hell
are graphic and heaven is depicted according to earthly delights.
Moslems
disagree as to whether they are literal or not.
WHAT’S GOD GOT TO SAY ABOUT ALL THIS? “Neither
is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under
heaven
given among men, whereby we must be saved “Acts 4:12 “...that God was
in
Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their
trespasses unto
them...”
2 Corinthians 5:19 “He that believeth on the
Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not
see
life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. “ John 3:36
Comment: All rather
plain isn’t it? It’s God’s way or the highway! You see if Allah created
the
world and if he died on the cross for everyone’s sins then I guess he
can make
the rules about life and death, salvation and hell - but until then
he’s just a
naughty little stone idol.
BEHAVIOR
There are clear cut duties
and commands to be followed. Islamic morals are a combination of
genuine acts
of love and justice, and legalistic performances on the other hand.
However the
world sees much violence done by the Moslem because he believes he has
the
truth. Although Moslems have elevated the position of women, they are
seen as
little more than temptations to sin for men.
WHAT’S GOD GOT TO SAY ABOUT ALL THIS? “...whatsoever
things are true.. honest. just.. pure.. lovely.. good report..
virtue..
think on these things,” Philippians 4:8
“Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger,
and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you... and be ye kind
one to
another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s
sake
hath forgiven you.” Ephesians 4:31-32
WORSHIP
Muhammad is not worshipped, only Allah is.
There is little or no worship of gods or idols, pictures or statues in
Islam.
Allah is worshipped for his power and majesty but can’t be leaned on
for
salvation as that is man’s responsibility. His guidance comes in the
form of
words not persons - in the form of the Koran.
There are Five Pillars of worship in Islam:
1. Reciting the basic creed, “There is no God
but Allah, and Muhammad is his prophet.” 2. Recite prayers in praise of
Allah 5
times daily while facing Mecca 3. Give money to the poor 4. Fast for
one month
a year (called Ramadan) 5. Make a pilgrimage at least once in his life
to
Mecca, the city to where Allah revealed the Koran to Muhammad.
WHAT’S GOD GOT TO SAY ABOUT ALL THIS?
“Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him,
and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of
Jesus every
knee should bow ...and that every tongue should confess that Jesus
Christ is
Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”
Philippians 2:9-11
“But the Lord is the true God, he is the
living God, and an everlasting king... “Jeremiah 10:10 “...for I am
God, and
there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me...” Isaiah 46:9
Comment: Once
again, DIY’ers (Do-It-Yourselfers) won’t believe the Bible but have
their own
traditions. The descendents of Ishmael (the Arabs) show their rebellion
by
having their own god and sets of rules on how to enter heaven.
That’s the problem - you have to make sure
that they’re the right set of rules.
When you’re dead it’s forever - you can’t
afford to be wrong. When you enter eternity, everything you ever
thought or did
here on earth counts for zero. The only question you’ll be asked is
“Did you
receive Jesus as your Saviour, as having paid the price for you, did
you trust
in His work on the cross.”
The reason that Islam finds acceptance with
the Roman Catholics and vice versa is that they both hate the Jews with
a
passion and vengeance. The Jews remind the Catholics that they are
God’s people
and that Jesus Christ is coming back again to sit on the throne of
David, to
establish His kingdom here again on earth. This kingdom will be real,
visible
and physical. The Catholics think that they are God’s kingdom
here on
earth and that’s one of the reasons they wish to remove the books of
Daniel and
Revelations from the Bible. The next edition of the NIV should have
Revelation
removed and the Shepherd of Hermes as a substitute or the Epistle of
Barnabas.
All the top Nazis, including Hitler, were
confirmed Roman Catholics and were bankrolled by the Vatican to
exterminate the
Jews. Pius XII on the surface seemed to support the Jews in WWII but
did
nothing to protest the death camps. A close attendant of Pius XII said
that for
a couple of hours before his death in his bed, he heard him screaming
his way
into hell.
Yes, Islam and Rome hate the Jew and that is
what attracts them to each other. The Roman Catholics similarly have
shown
themselves to hold the creedo of “convert or die”.
Isn’t it good to know, that Jesus Christ is
coming back for His own very shortly (this year - or the next or in ten
years
time). This is called the Rapture of the saints (those who have
trusted
Jesus alone as having paid for their sins).
Dear Friend, will you be one of those or will
you enter the time of God’s wrath on the earth - the 7 year
tribulation. To get
right with God during that time, you will pay with your life because of
the
persecution.
