“NINE BIBLE REASONS THAT PROVE JESUS CHRIST IS GOD”

1.  To worship Jesus Christ is not blasphemy
Why did Christ say that all men should worship him as they do the Father, if he wasn’t God? He wouldn’t as this would be blasphemy. That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him.” (John 5:23)

The Bible says Christ did no sin and never lied (1 Peter 2:22).

2. Jesus Christ created and made all things
The scriptures show that Christ created everything (Genesis 1:1; Col 1:16; John 1:3).
In the first verse in the Bible, it states “In the beginning God (Jesus) created the heaven and the earth.” (Genesis 1:1).

This is proven by the following:

For by him (Jesus Christ) were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:” (Colossians 1:16).

This means all the planets, the stars, people, atoms, fish, animals, birds, fruit and trees and so on.

If God created everything and Jesus Christ created everything, then that means the God is Jesus Christ and Jesus Christ is God. Simply by pure reasoning, you can read the first verse of the holy scriptures as “In the beginning The Lord Jesus Christ created the heaven and the earth.” (Genesis 1:1)

Another verse saysAll things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.” (John 1:3). Jesus Christ created everything out of nothing.

3. Thomas says to Jesus “My Lord and my God”
Jesus is talking:
“Then saith he (Jesus) to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing. And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.” (John 20:27-28).

If Christ isn't God, he shouldn't have accepted the worship of Thomas (John 20:28).

Jesus would have been a fraud and a liar by pretending to be God.

4. Jesus Christ equal with God
The Jews killed Jesus because he said he was God by saying that he was his Son. Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God.” (John 5:18).

But he was as the following says

“For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word (Jesus), and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.” (1 John 5:7).

The reason is this … As “God is a Spirit” (John 4:24), Jesus was saying that he was a Spirit in heaven as well.

Like produces like. For example, a horse produces a horse, not a monkey. Jesus was a Spirit just like God his Father.

5. Jesus is the first and the last … God is the first and the last

God is speaking here in the Old Testament:“Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.” (Is 44:6)
Hearken unto me, O Jacob and Israel, my called; I am he; I am the first, I also am the last. (Isaiah 48:12)

Jesus Christ is speaking here in the New Testament:

“And unto the angel of the church in Smyrna write; These things saith the first and the last, which was dead, and is alive;” (Revelation 2:8)

“And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last: I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore,” (Revelation 1:17-18)

Also ask the Jehovah Witnesses “When did God Jehovah die?”

They have to admit that Jesus is God.

6. Jesus is The Mighty God and The everlasting Father
The following is the prophecy of Isaiah in the Old testament:
“For unto us a child (Jesus Christ) is born, unto us a son (Jesus Christ) is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.” (Isaiah 9:6)

Jesus is called many things … especially The mighty God and The everlasting father.

7. Only God can forgive sins … Jesus forgives sins
Question: If Jesus isn't God, how can he forgive sins as only God can forgive sins?

Answer: He is God.

The Jews said “Why doth this man thus speak blasphemies? who can forgive sins but God only?” (Mark 2:7)

Furthermore, the scriptures say

“But that ye may know that the Son of man (Jesus Christ) hath power on earth to forgive sins, (then saith he to the sick of the palsy,) Arise, take up thy bed, and go unto thine house.” (Matthew 9:6)

8. Thou, Jesus, being a man maketh thyself God
I (Jesus Christ) and my Father are one. Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him. Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me? The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.” (John 10:30-33).

The Jews didn’t put Christ on the cross for good works, but for saying he was God.

As we know … Christ never lied, Christ knew no sin, Christ did no sin and no guile was found in him (1Peter 2:22; 1John 3:5; 2Cor 5:21) so therefore he was God in the flesh (John 1:14).

9. The Word was God and was made flesh … Jesus Christ
“In the beginning was the Word (Jesus), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” (John 1:1)
“And the Word (Jesus) was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.” (John 1:14)

Nothing could be plainer.

The Bible also says And without controversy (without argument) great is the mystery of godliness: God was MANifest in the flesh…” (1 Timothy 3:16).

Can you see this? God was MAN–ifested as a physical man.
