I feel God has not answered

my prayer for salvation

If you feel God has not answered your prayer for salvation, but you are trusting only what Jesus Christ did on the cross, (that is paying for the sins of the world; and that is the only way that anyone could get to heaven,)

Don't depend on feelings, for we rely on the promise of God's Word.

These scriptures are a promise from God: 1 John 5: 11,12,13, "And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God." In other words you know because, God said it in his Word the Bible, and therefore you simply believe it.

The Bible Book of Hebrews 10:38 says:
"Now the just shall live by faith."

You do not have to be in a church in order to pray to God, for God even sees your thoughts, you do not have to bow your head in humility in order to pray, even though that would be a good idea, remembering that God sees the heart rather than the actions or special words, your own words are sufficient to convey your appeal to God for salvation or other requests.

Maybe it's because you haven't prayed the Salvation Prayer. The Salvation Prayer must be prayed before God will answer any other prayer, it only needs to be prayed once in your lifetime for you can not lose your salvation once you have it with a believing heart, God will answer your salvation prayer according to this verse "... him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out." (John 6:37.) He may or may not answer the other prayers that you pray after the prayer, depending on whether it is His perfect will for you or not, but he will answer the  Salvation Prayer for certain.

Salvation Prayer:

"Dear Lord God Jesus Christ, I know that I am a sinner, because your word says that all have sinned, and I do believe that you died for all my sins on the cross of Calvary, so I wouldn't have to go to that terrible place called hell, that is why with a believing heart, I ask and thank you for being my Lord and Saviour, knowing that you have become my Saviour now, and that I will be with you in heaven one day, AMEN."

Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth. And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief.” (Mark 9:17-20,21-24)
