THE PARABLES OF CHRIST

“Are there 40 or 41 recorded parables?”

“Are there 27 or 28 recorded general parables?”
“Are there 12 or 13 recorded kingdom of heaven parables?”

Why is there a ‘seeming’ inconsistency?

Using The King James Bible English gematria to find hidden meaning and relationships is between words and phrases …
ALL ARE CORRECT!

“ARE 40 OR 41 PARABLES OF JESUS CHRIST?”
We’d like to think there are only 40 parables as that would match the number of years Israel spent in the desert with their blindness.

If there are 41, this destroys the neat pattern. But does it?

If there are 40, that’s OK as 38 + 2 = 40 with 38 = 19 x 2 with 19 being the time of judgment and 2 being the number of Christ.

If there are 41, that’s OK too as 41 = 38 + 3 with #3 being number of God.

“ARE THERE 27 OR 28 GENERAL PARABLES?”
If there are only 27, that would be good, as 27 = 9 x 3 = 3 x 3 x 3 which are an excellent combination of numbers representing the triple representation of three persons of the Godhead.

If there are 28, that’s good too, as 28 = 4 x 7 = 2 x 2 x 7 which are also a unique combination of numbers with 2 being Christ as the 2nd person of the Godhead, and 2 x 2 representing a ‘double’ Christ as it were, and 7 being the perfect number of God.

“ARE THERE 12 OR 13 KINGDOM OF HEAVEN PARABLES?”
It is generally accepted there are only 12, and this seems like a good number with Christ only having 12 apostles under his kingdom of heaven dispensation.

Or did he? No, he had 13 apostles with Matthias replacing Judas.

So it would make sense also if there were 13 kingdom of heaven parables after all.

So it would not be out of place to have 13 kingdom of heaven parables with the ‘hidden’ one being that of the Scribe-Householder (Matthew 13:52).

We note that 4 x 13 = 52, that is with 4 = 2 x 2 with Christ being the 2nd in the Godhead and 2 x 2 representing a ‘double’ Christ as it were, and 13 being the number of apostles of Christ … not counting Paul as the 14th as he was born out of due time.

The chapter number being 13 would represent the 13 kingdom of heaven parables.

If we accept that the 8th of the 13 kingdom of heaven parables is hidden (Matthew 13:52), then there are only 12 kingdom of heaven parables … which is what is generally accepted.

If the are only 12 kingdom of heaven parables then the status quo of 40 parables remains.

THE INEXPLICABLE ‘DUALITY’ CONCERNING CHRIST
Here’s the explanation as to why there are both 40 and 41 parables, 27 and 28 general parables and 12 and
13 kingdom parables.

Q1: Was Christ God or man? How could he be both at the same time as the Son of God and the Son of man?

Answer? He just was!

Q2: How can light be described as particle form and wave form at the same time?

Answer? No one can explain this … it just is!

Q3: “Do we follow Christ or Paul?”

Answer: Both! We follow Paul … and yes we follow Christ as Paul follows Christ! How can this be possible? How can we follow both?

Q4. If my sins have been washed away (Rev 1:5) and if he that is saved doesn’t sin anymore (1 John 3:6;5:8), I mustn’t be saved because I am still sinning!”

Q5: How can David be the son of Christ yet at the same time be his father?

David therefore calleth him Lord, how is he then his son?” (Luke 20:44)

Q6: How can the Old Testament and the New Testament be both correct when they are clearly different?

Q7: How can the Old Testament saints have eternal salvation when they clearly didn’t?

… these questions and hundreds of others.

So Dear Reader, there it is …

How can 40 equal 41? … they just are!
How can 27 equal 28? … they just are!
How can 12 equal 13? … they just are!
